Escape to one of our beautiful, secluded holiday cottages, nestled in a picturesque setting in rural Carmarthenshire. The eco-friendly cottages are a real home from home, with characterful interiors and a cozy, comfortable feel. With stunning views of Llansteffan and the River Towy estuary and marshes, our two traditional Welsh holiday cottages offer you peace & tranquillity, surrounded by 5 acres of land.

The cottages really are comfortable for couples or singles. They are all on one level so are easily accessible to all. Each cottage is entered by a glass room, the perfect place for bird/wildlife watching or soaking up the panoramic views.

The two traditional Welsh cottages are approached by a long private drive, about 1.5 miles from the village of Llangain. Each cottage has its own separate patio with seating & gas BBQ. You are also free to wander round the wildlife-rich land, which includes two ponds. The friendly hosts, Jim & Sharon, live on site and are more than happy to help with local knowledge.

Tan-Y-Lan Fach Holiday Cottages are set in an idyllic rural position, nestled between Llansteffan and Carmarthen. They have stunning views over the River Towy estuary and marshes and are ideally situated for exploring Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion.

This beautiful area boasts a wealth of attractions including some stunning coastal walks. It is also quite close to the Gower Peninsula. Local attractions include the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, Carmarthen Bay Ferries, Dylan Thomas’ Boathouse and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, to name but a few.

There are plenty of pubs and eateries within a short driving distance. The hosts are happy to help with local knowledge if you have anything in particular you’d like to do.
