About Ffynnon Rhosfa Farm
A very warm welcome awaits you at Ffynnon Rhosfa Farm based in the Gwendraeth valley. This 200yr old farmhouse which is set in 8 acres makes a quiet and peaceful retreat. We offer self catering accommodation in two cottages and have recently installed a C.L. 5 pitch caravan site.
The 8 acres, with walks around the lake, has uninterrupted views of the Black Mountain and is a tranquil setting for getting away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life.
The Stables is a self catering cottage that will sleep 4 people and is situated adjacent to the farmhouse consists of a double bedroom and a twin bedroom both of which are en-suite. A fitted kitchen and separate lounge with sofa bed are next to a utility room with a washing machine. Off the utility room is another bathroom.
Bed linen, towels and hairdryers are provided. Central heating is included in the price. A high chair and cot are available if required.
The cottage also has access to a barbeque area with gas barbeque, parking is next to the cottage.
Violet Cottage sleeps two and is by the side of Ffynnon Rhosfa farmhouse. All rooms are centrally heated and are on the ground floor. From the front door there is one step up into the living room and then two steps into the kitchen. The living room has a wood burner with logs included.
A large living room has a sofa and two armchairs plus a 32in television
The bedroom has twin beds with an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has a shower over the bath.
The back door leads to a large shared garden with views to the Black Mountain and the Brecon Beacons. Through the garden gate are 8 acres of fields with a lake. (NB the lake is unfenced). Parking is at the front of the property.
The Stables:

Location
Ffynnon Rhosfa is conveniently located for the A48 and M4 yet set in peaceful surroundings with wonderful views. It is an ideal base for walking, cycling and exploring the attractions of South West Wales.
The National Botanical Garden of Wales is 15 mins away. Aberglasney Gardens, Llanelli wetlands centre, Ffos Las race course are less than half hour away.
The Gower Peninsular and Pembrokeshire are less than one hour away.
There are six golf courses all within easy reach.
Within Llannon village are two friendly pubs approximately 1 mile away by road. Both pubs have local ales and a wide selection of food on offer.
Secure lockup facilities are available for bikes.
