About Cwmgwyn Farm Cottage
Arwyn & Marian welcome you to Cwmgwyn Farm Cottage on a working livestock farm in the Parish of Myddfai, with truly superb views overlooking the River Tywi and down the winding valley. Swans, herons and the red kite are frequent visitors to this stretch of river. There are lovely peaceful walks down to the river, situated on the western edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, and an ideal base for walking, cycling, bird watching and fishing.
The cottage is on the upper level on the 17th century barn. It is accessed by welsh slate steps with oak banisters.
Sorry, not suitable to children under the age of 4 due to slate steps.
It has been restored to a very high standard, retaining all the original oak beams complimented by Welsh oak floors and the original stone walls. The farm is in Red Kite country and is bordered by the River Tywi with approx. 1 mile of sewin and salmon fishing on both banks (to be discussed with us).
A superbly equipped kitchen with built in electric cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Sitting area with comfortable leather sofa and chairs, colour TV/DVD, and an electric log effect cast iron style black stove.
Downstairs utility area with washing machine/tumble dryer and deep-freeze.
Full oil central heating and electricity is inclusive. Bed linen and bed linen provided.
Exclusive use of covered hot tub as an optional extra.
Sorry no pets.
